About me

My origin story

Before my career began, I thought it would follow an author’s path. But somewhere between creating a personal audience and writing books, I learned that what I truly love is harnessing storytelling to get people and ideas moving in the same direction.

How it started

A bookstagram, a podcast and a lot of learning in public.

At 15 I started an Instagram account to share my love of books. It grew to 50,000 followers, and without meaning to, I was running content calendars, partnerships and a community. Later I launched a podcast that reached 30,000 unique listeners. I maintained the podcast for a few years before discovering that, while fun, I wanted to have a deeper impact. I got a job as a project manager — and the third employee — at a mental health startup called Rapid Rewire. My daily tasks trained me as a “Jane of all trades,” but my favorite part of working at the company was helping to decipher the story, both internally and externally.

My skills have since developed to include people management, change management, risk analysis, and operations, but the core of what I love to do is simplify the complex in a compelling narrative.

Outside of work, you’re likely to find me reading a book, listening to a podcast, hiking, baking, and attending concerts.
